SUA Membership Bylaws
1. Membership Categories and Eligibility
- Active Member: Open to urologists licensed by SCFHS, practicing in Saudi Arabia as consultants, specialists, or engaged in urology-related training or research. Active Members must be in good standing with SCFHS, may attend the annual General Assembly, and are eligible to vote in SUA Board elections.
- Resident Member: Open to residents enrolled in SCFHS-accredited urology training programs in Saudi Arabia. Non-voting.
- Honorary/Emeritus Member: Granted to retired urologists or individuals with significant contributions to urology, as approved by the SUA Board. Non-voting unless the Board grants voting privileges.
1.2 General Requirements
- Active Members: At least 6 months of active practice/involvement in urology in Saudi Arabia.
- All members: Must pay annual dues (Resident Members may be exempt).
- All members: Must adhere to the SUA code of conduct and bylaws.
2. Membership Application Process
- Submit an application to the SUA Membership Committee with SCFHS classification, CV, and qualifications.
- Committee reviews quarterly and recommends approvals to the SUA Board.
- Approved members receive confirmation and are registered accordingly.
3. Membership Rights and Responsibilities
- Voting rights: Only Active Members in good standing.
- Participation in SUA events, educational programs, and General Assembly.
- Compliance with SUA bylaws and policies.
4. Termination or Suspension of Membership
- Non-payment of dues, code-of-conduct violations, or breach of bylaws.
- Board decision after formal review with a right to appeal.
5. Bylaw Review
- Reviewed every 3 years by the SUA Board to ensure compliance with regulations.

3. Rights & Responsibilities of Members

- Compliance with organizational bylaws.
4. Termination or Suspension
- Non-payment of dues, violations of Code of Conduct, or breach of bylaws.
- Decision by SUA Board after formal review. Right to appeal within 30 days.
5. Review of Bylaws
- Reviewed every 3 years by the SUA Board for compliance and updates.
